Tea drinking was brought to Britain from Portugal, when Catherine of Braganza married King Charles II in 1662 and brought loose leaf tea along with her dowry. From there it became a favourite drink of the elite.
Fast forward to today and people from all walks of life can enjoy great tea in all its glory. We created the London Breakfast blend to stay true to our traditions and to create our own tea drinking rituals at home.
Made with top quality, full leaf black tea from India and Sri Lanka, this brew will refresh and invigorate, and give you a burst of energy to power through your day.
Ingredients: black tea from Assam and Ceylon.
This caddy contains: 125g of loose leaf tea. This will make approx. 40 cups of tea.
How to make it: use a teaspoon of tea per 250ml and infuse for 5 minutes at 100°C. Best brewed in a teapot, or a tea brewing bag (if you're feeling lazy!)

My favourite breakfast tea
My little tin of morning heaven! This black tea is unlike any other I have ever tried; it’s fragrant, light and unexpectedly sweet for a black tea. It’s the only breakfast tea that I would never put milk or sugar in, because the flavour is so lovely on its own (adding anything else just feels like a crime!). Truly one of a kind ❤️
